Fees and General Conditions

Please print off, sign and date these T&C and return to the Bergerac Agency together with your Family Registration and £20 Registration Fee.

1. All records, documents and information relating to Au-Pairs should be treated as confidential and remain the property of Bergerac Agency ("the Agency"). In the event that a Host Family ("the client") should, either directly or indirectly introduce an Au-Pair registered with the Agency to another party, then the client will be liable to the Agency for the appropriate fee.

2. There is a £20 Registration Fee (non-refundable), which is due when the client returns completed Registration form (please also enclose a Family Photo).

3. AGENCY FEES are as follows:
**Au-Pair (summer placement)(2-3 months)** £ 145.00
**Au-Pair (up to 5 months)** £ 295.00
**Au-Pair (more than 6 months)** £ 395.00
**Au-Pair Couples (6 months and over)** £ 599.00
**Au-Pair / Companions (for the elderly)** £ 300.00
**Au-Pair / Housekeeper** £ 300.00

Please note that the Agency Fee becomes payable after selection of a suitable Au-Pair, before the agency dispatches it's official invitation. No further charges will be made. Please note that should the Au-Pair extend their stay beyond the original date on short-term placements then the appropriate additional fee will become payable.

We are unable to process any paperwork or Au-Pair's travel booking until the fee is received.

4. Should the client wish to cancel an engagement before their stay begins, then the client becomes liable for £80 cancellation Fee.

5. Should the Au-Pair cancel an engagement before their stay begins, the Agency will endeavour to provide a replacement or Agency Fee will be refunded in full.

6. It is the client's responsibility to collect their Au-Pair on arrival in this country.

7. Once an Au-Pair has begun their stay, by entering the client's home, two weeks notice of termination of employment must be given by either party. It is the client's responsibility to provide accommodation for the Au-Pair during this period, if required.

8. Should the client wish to terminate employment within the first 28 days after the Au-Pair has begun their stay, the Agency must be informed immediately and will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement free of charge or if this is not possible offer a refund of 50% of the paid Agency Fee. Short-term Au-Pairs are not subject to the Refund Terms. No refunds will be made after 28 days.

9. Should the Au-Pair wish to terminate their stay within the first 28 days of the engagement, the Agency will provide a suitable replacement free of charge or, if this is not possible, offer a refund of 50% of the paid Agency Fee. If the Au-Pair terminates their stay after the 28 days but prior to the end of the proposed stay then the client's paid fee will be re-calculated (at the appropriate rate for the time of the actual stay) and the excess will be credited against a replacement fee.

10. Whilst the Agency endeavours to introduce only suitable Au-Pairs to clients, it cannot be held responsible or liable in any way for any loss, damage, injury or inconvenience suffered by the client through any act of misconduct on the part of the Au-Pair.

11. The Agency cannot guarantee an Au-Pair will complete their proposed length of stay.
